The subject of this project, which was made by Science and Technology Vice President request , is the design of an accelerator for mothers and a space to keep their children, where they can do their job peacefully. The main audience of these shared spaces are mothers and women who prefer to devote more time to their children when their children are young, but to do their professional activities at the same time. There is no need for mothers to choose between work and their favorite activities and their children, and instead of resuming their activities after 3 or 5 years, for taking care of their children, they can do both together.
The location of the project is an industrial shed in the University of Science and Technology. The idea of this design is derived from the beehive, where the mother bees do the work of the hive, and the hive is both their home and their workplace. The challenges of the project are to create a space that has no connection with the outside, so that mothers can engage in innovative work without restrictions on clothing, and at the same time, this space should be open and shiny. For this reason, a central courtyard was created in the heart of the shed, which is three-sided glass made and its like the heart of the project, so that it may remind the life of traditional Iranian houses and instill a sense of comfortability in these mothers, so that they can do their activities with tranquility. In the interior design, wood is used along with soft colors and women’s temperament, which are placed on a white background to evoke a warm and intimate space like a home.
