The topic of this project was the design of an accelerator in the field of hardware, which was commissioned by Barkat Knowledge Institute. The old building was a shed that was renovated with the changes that were made in it.
One of the challenges of this project was the lack of proper natural light in the interior and the lack of connection between the interior and the surrounding garden. One of the goals of the plan is to create a space with an industrial atmosphere that reminds the name of Hardtech company, and also to create a space with enough natural light that is suitable for a startup workspace was very important.
The main idea of ​​the project is two white screens in the form of windbreaks of Iranian architecture, which divides the volume of the shed and directs the light to the inner space indirectly. These two plates divide the eastern side of the shed and form the entrance to the complex. The presence of these two pages throughout the work makes the space legible like a sign. In order to communicate with the surrounding nature, the southern wall of the building is made of glass and two pavilions were designed in the southern area for users using them to relax in the garden. The usage of iron and wood materials can be seen prominently in this collection, strengthen the industrial mood, mechanical and electrical facilities have been worked visibly.
